Ok, everyone, so my hair has been really frizzy and nasty lately!! :sad2: Is there anything you could think of that might help me?

You know how people get perms? Maybe get your hair chemically straightened. It's like a perm, but instead of curly you get straight. I've never gotten it done, but I'd assume it would reduce frizzy-ness.

Use Argan oil! It's a natural Moroccan oil that you put in your hair every night. It's amazing. I have EXTREMELY frizzy hair and using this stuff every night really makes a difference. I also recommend carrot oil. That stuff works wonders as well. Also, use a keratin infusion shampoo. I use one by Suave. That really helped too. Happy de-frizzing! ;)

Ouidad heat and humidity gel!!!! I have tried everything for Humidity, and it works awesome!!!I have all of my family and friends using it now, as well as my hairdresser.

These all sound great, guys. Thanks so much! I would especially need that humidity gel. My hair didn't look too bad today, but then I went outside for a walk and because it's so humid here right now, My hair started going crazy! The oils and the opposite of a perm sounds pretty good too.

I saw that getting your hair chemically straightened was mentioned. Well, when you get your hair chemically straightened, it only stays straight for a while. However, when your hair starts growing out, your new hair's going to come in natural, not straight. Also, it damages your hair. So, if I were you, I'd go with the Argan oil (it works, I've used it before) or asking your hair stylist about products you can buy. I've seen the humidity gel at different Wal-Marts for cheap, so it wouldn't hurt to try that either. :thumbsup2

Thanks! I probably wouldn't be allowed to get my hair chemically straightened anyways! I might try to Argan oil and the humidity gel. I think the gel is what will work best for me, because my hair usually starts getting so much worse when it's humid!

I know how you feel. My hair is waist length, so when it frizzes, it's like the cowardly lion.

I broke my mom's favorite comb once due to the tangles...

I've broken a few combs because of my hair. Mine is a couple inches past my shoulders. Mine went through a stage where it got like... clumps of tangly hair, that could take hours on end to get out. It was really bad. I got a new shampoo and that helped THAT, but yet I can also relate my hair to a lion. Maybe one who has just got it's mane though. Heehee! :rotfl:
