I have heard that for your wedding day you should not wear your hair in a way that you dont wear most of the time. I.E. if you wear your hair up all time dont go with a down do..... What are your thoughts on this?

I think you should wear it however you want and however you will be comfortable. It's your wedding day, why place restrictions on how you can look? One thing to keep in mind though, is if you always wear your hair one way (i.e always up), you may not be used to seeing it down, and might not feel as comfortable or happy with how it looks.

I have to agree that it may look weird to you if you get this masisve updo when you normally wear your hair down. But you also have to do what you want and what looks best with your dress and veil.

I think you should wear it in a way that it will "keep." This is the most photographed day of your life. My hair is heavy and long. It might have looked pretty down or 1/2 down, but there is no way it would have looked good by the end of the day (it drags out the curls). So, I went with up, and I'm so glad I did. I got ready before 9:00am, and it still looked fine at the DP (and after a nap!)

Ditto that - I knew if I wore my hair down I would be fussing with it and stressing about it all day cuz that's what I do!
