Hi everyone. I recently posted pricing info about Ana at Beaute Speciale. I'm one step away from sending my info to book it, but I'm stuck. They want the time I'll be dressed by, and I have no idea. I've tried to figure it out and I just end up confusing myself more...which isn't hard to do. :rotfl:

Our ceremony is at 10 a.m. in the WP. We'll be getting ready in the GF and there will be 3 ppl getting updos and 2 children. Then, 4 of us will get airbrush makeup.

Misty said she'll come 2.5 to 3 hrs prior to the ceremony start time...which puts her at our room at 7-7:30 a.m. All she requested was that our flowers are there when she arrives because our flowers will be in many getting ready pics. Right now our planner has our flower delivery at 8 a.m. Is it possible for them to get there earlier for Misty to use?

Do I have to be in my gown already when she gets there? I know I've seen getting ready pics with cute bridal hoodies and stuff, which I have one that I'll be wearing and would like in some pics. We're scheduled to have pics at the GF staircase at 9 a.m. (after DF and his boys). Has anyone been in this situation or had this experience and what time did you need to be dressed by? :confused3

Also, I need to give a time I'll be dressed for our MK shoot, which is two days after the wedding at 6 a.m. Does the photographer pick us up at 6 or will we be in the MK ready to shoot at 6? We'll be in the GF that morning so we'll be right there. What time were you dressed if you have an appt at 6?

Any pointers from experience would be MUCH appreciated! I've been waiting so long to finally book Ana (i.e. waiting for ppl to confirm if they wanted services) and I'm so close!! Thanks!!!! :thumbsup2

We had a 10:00am ceremony at the WP and got ready at the GF, so I think our timeline would be really similar. We also had a MK shoot 2 days later, also at 6:00am!

I had 6 girls getting hair and makeup done, so it's a little more than you (but Patricia did have two people doing hair and makeup), but we started getting ready at 5:15. I was supposed to be ready by 9:00. I wasn't. My BMs were even further behind me. So, we didn't get any before pics, which really ticked me. If we had had 4 1/2 hours, that would have worked. Soo...I would suggest 1 hour for hair per person (per stylist) and another 1/2 hour per makeup per stylist. The children might only need 1/2 hour for hair each. So for you, I'd say 6 hours total, which means 3 hours before IF she has two stylists. Does that make sense? So, I'd confirm that she has 2 stylists and then tell her 5:45 (to give a little fudge factor) for a 9:00am ready time.

I had her come two hours early for the MK shoot, and that was barely enough. The photographer will be waiting for you in the GF lobby, but will probably be there a few minutes early. So, I'd start getting ready about 3:30...4:00 at the LATEST.

On the morning of our wedding we had:

08:30 Guys Photographs (the Roots showed up first for this and met them in the GF lobby...their pics lasted only about 15 minutes)
08:45 Roots came to our room to take pics of us getting ready. (This doesn't seem like much time, but honestly, I have TONS of pics of my flowers and stuff as we were getting ready. Of course, we were running a little late, but I don't see a need for Misty to show up an hour before you have to be ready)
9:00 I was supposed to have pics with my girls. This didn't happen. I ran down with my MOH at about 9:15 and got a few pics by myself before I climbed in the coach.

Other than my being late, the timeline was fine.

You probably shouldn't be ready or in your gown when Misty gets there. I think floral delivery at 8:00 (they actually showed up earlier, I think) should be okay with Misty getting there a few minutes later. Then, she can get some pics of you having your hair/makeup done. Next, she can grab some pics with the guys (this doesn't take long...guys are easy) and then come get pics of you putting the final touches on the dress, etc.

It sounds like you have a good grasp on things! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!!! I think I understand... I'm assuming the "time I'll be dressed by" for Ana is when I'll be in my gown, now that I think about it, not when I'm presentable, right? I just emailed them so we'll see what they say.

Thanks again!! :)
