I'm not doing a hair trial either. We just won't be down there again before the wedding. But I AM doing a trial with my normal hair lady by me and tryng out different things to see what I like/don't like and taking pictures, then bringing it with me to FL for morning of. Hopefully it will work out.
No. You aren't crazy. I didn't do a hair trial either (I had them too) and though I wasn't thrilled with my hair the first two (yes, two) times she did it... the third time was the charm. They were very easy to work with and didn't seem the least bit miffed when I had them change things. The main thing to remember is that you won't hurt their feelings if you say that you don't like something. The best piece of advice that I got was not to get out of the chair until I was completely satisified. You'll be fine.
PS, my DH is reading over my shoulder and said "She'll be fine... they'll work with her". So you'll be good.
Thanks Linday22!!! That is so funny!!! My DF reads over my shoulder all the time when Im on the Dis!!! They should just get their own SN's!!!!!!!
I think I will just see if my hair dresser here in good ol' NJ will do some trials for me and ill take picks. I more worry about the makeup. It looks different on everyone. As you said, I hear Ana is very easy to work with. She does this so often, Im sure it will be fine. Just getting jitters.
Hi there! I'm also wondering about this too...I've always done my own makeup (although I'm NOT a makeup artist by any means) and so I'm even more nervous about having someone else do it. I would like to have my makeup done by someone professionally, but it's a little scary...Also, I would like to have the airbrush makeup and see how that looks and feels on my skin (I think it is supposed to last a lot longer??). I'm planning on having a 10am ceremony and a dessert party at night so I want to make sure my makeup will last that long. If anyone has had experience this airbrush, I'd love to hear about it!!
I did not do a hair trail & it was great! I actually had one planned for a couple months before my wedding and had to cancel our trip so I was very scared bc I have thick Hurley hair, but she did an amazing job. I'm really glad I did not spend the money for a trail!
