So i have thing brown hair that is neither straight or curly. i am getting ing permatly straightened. but and i need a new cut/ style. i kind of want something with layers to make my hair look more full. but idk what kind of syle or the way i want it cut. has anyone seen that movie zenon z3? well i kind of want my hair like zenons. but i cant find pictures, or pictures of the hair syle as i dont know what it is called. so does anyone have pictures? also any other hair style pictures would be great to give me ideas. please NO anime.

i was going to get my hair curled but even if i got the loosest perm it would be tight curls. my hair is down to a little past my shoulders and i have split ends so i am getting a trim but love my hair when it is long.

You know, just because you get it chemically straightened, you'll still have to manage it in the morning. Blow dry and/or flat iron it to make it really straight. Trust me, I've had it done before!

So you'll need a haircut that will be easy to deal with even if you decide not to mess with your hair one day.

Don't go too crazy with the layers. Maybe some 'side bangs'. Take a picture to the stylist so you make sure you get exactly what you want.

Like that?

DO NOT permanently straighten your hair. One day you're going to be kicking yourself in the rear for doing that. A good, name brand hair straightener (like CHI) gets the job done.

Also, the type of hairstyle you want depends on your face shape. Certain face shapes don't look good with certain hairstyles.

Chi is terrible.
If you want a good straightener, don't get one used in a salon, those are not meant for everyday use and will ruin your hair.
Go to some place that sells hair products and ask them what the best one is for everyday use.
I use a BaByliss one with titanium plates instead of ceramic for curling my hair sometimes.
You need to use a heat product first to protect your hair though, and even then if you use it every day youll have really nasty, damaged hair after a while.

Consider dreadlocks. I hear they're marvelously easy to take care of.
Also, have you ever considered just going without hair? Some girls can pull it off, given they have the right facial structure.
Or, you could accept the rat's nest of hair that you've got and embrace it. Put things in it. I don't know what, possibly combs, vines, or small children.
Any way that you go, good luck.

My stylist's straightener was awful, and she told me it worked great. I would not take her advice.

In my experience ceramic plates work much much better than any other kind.

I cant decide the cut until i see your face first.
Could you post a picture?

:lmao:

Dreads creep me out. I see dreadlocks and I think "dirty", because anytime I see someone with them it looks like a birds nest.
I hate hate hate my short hair. It is SO hard to maintain. I only have it because it's growing back after being bald for a while, if it were my choice I'd never cut it short. A lot of people tell me it looks good with my strong facial features. :confused3 Whatever.

OH MY GOD
ZENON <3
xD

Yeah, any of those ideas are good.
But i would go with dreads, cause when hair is growing back it itches.

If the Chi isnt working, something is weird. Its the best flat iron out there. I should know, my mom is a hair stylist. Maybe you dont have the heat adjusted correctly or you aren't dividing your hair into thin enough layers before using the flat iron? Whatever the case, DON'T get your hair chemically straightened. Like Sonya said, you will be kicking yourself in the rear one day if you do.
