Hair dryers on the Wonder

Recent Wonder cruisers could you tall me if they replaced the wall hair dryers in the bathroom with regular hair dryers? Hoping to avoid packing one for our March Cruise.

Our room still had the wall dryer but also had a regular one in the desk area.

Same thing here. My wife used the one on the wall but we had both in the room. We sailed Dec 30th.

Yes, they added the dryer to the drawer when they did the room refresh awhile back. We had both dryers in August.

Was on the Wonder two weeks ago. Yes, there was a regular hair dryer, so I did not bring my own. I don't know how picky you are, but personally I HATED the new hairdryer too. I don't know if it was a problem just in my room, but despite saying it was a 2200, it seemed to have almost NO power. I am used to a strong, hot hair dryer that dries my rather short hair in about 2-3 minutes. After about 5 minutes, my hair was only damp dry. I dealt with it, but next time I will still bring my own.

Make sure you look for the outlet designated for the hair dryer (in the vanity?). I forget every time, curse the hair dryer, and then remember to look for the special outlet. It works SO much better!
