Hair cuts in the MK

We are hoping to have both of our grandsons (2yr (has had his haircut) and 7 months (first hair cut, lots of hair); hair cut in the barber shop in MK. Can you make an appointment? If not is the wait long? TIA

No appointments....we got there right after they opened and had a short wait...10-15 minutes...

we got there 1/2 an hour after they opened in May and had an hour and a half wait... if was long but soooo worth it!!

First come first served! Get there ASAP. It is a small place and the wait can be long. I had my heart set on getting DS first haircut here so we waited about half an hour and I am so glad we did! The barber did a great job and DS was sooooo cute! We got some great pictures Definately do it!

It was the highlight of our trip!

My DS2 and my DD4 both got their first haircuts there last May. I was very nervous about my youngest sitting still (part of the reason we waited so long), but they really made him comfortable and he just sat motionless for the cut. They have stickers and toys to keep the kids distracted. They get Mickey ears with "First Haircut" embroidered on the back, a certificate, and a bit of their hair in a baggie with "pixie dust". We got great pictures and memories.

As others have said, the wait can be long depending on how many people happen to want a haircut at the same time. There are only two chairs in the barbershop and the line is outside (so you will easily be able to see how long it is). Some guests (especially girls) may just be getting some color/confetti which only takes a minute-- so the line may move faster than you think. It was worth the wait for us.

My DS had his first hair cut there. I waited until we could go to get his hair cut....if we would have had to wait too much longer, he would have had pretty blond curls!

He has hated each and every one of his hair cuts. If you can't be happy with stickers, bubbles, a Mickey spinning toy, confetti and Chip & Dale to play with you, you won't like hair cuts any where!!!!

They don't take appts., so go as soon as they open. We get our kids hair cut there every trip. Its been a tradition since our youngest had his first haircut there.

They once told us that if the parks are crowded, they are slow. If the parks are slow...they are crowded.

Its a great experience. We love it.
