Hagrid's won't be available during early entry starting Jan 3rd

Oh, got it. Yes, at park open, the line starts in the Lost Continent area. It’s been that way for a long time so if they were lined up by the lockers, I can see why they were sent back - but someone probably should have told them earlier.

So the people who lined up near the the ride at 8 got put to the end of the group near lost continent at 9. It seemed unfair

What is unfair? Sadly, they were not in line, so they should not have been put in front of those in the correct line.

We were told at the hotel, on the boat, at the gate waiting for EE, and by the TMs at Hagrid’s that it wasn’t going to be open for EE. It was open for EE. It opened sometime after 8 and before 8:40. It was actually running, not just letting people line up.

Well that really stinks for those of us paying to stay onsite.

They need to add it to Express Pass then.

This was my thinking in September! We couldn’t ride Hagrids OR Velocicoaster because Hagrids only did standby when we were there and VC shut down express when we went up to it (was a 35 minute wait standby and single rider was open but we were beyond hot and we were tired). Hagrids needs to have an express at this point

We were at the front of the line in lost continent (around8:20) they started moving the line about 8:30). Slow walk to Ride and first people on a coaster about 8:40, we were a few coasters later and were off the ride at 8:55. So it wasn’t open for early entry at 8, but it was open before the 9am regular open

We were at Hard Rock this weekend, and I didn't realize that Hagrid's wasn't available for early entry until we arrived at the park yesterday around 8:30. We hopped in line anyway at 8:45 and were off the ride by 9:30. They were telling us that it was an hour wait when we got in line so it was a little shorter than expected.

Thanks for the info! I’ll keep that in mind for the rest of the week. We rode at close last night after it came back online. We waited a little less than an hour and the line seemed to move a lot slower than the morning - I think probably because people had the paper EPs from the down time.

The kids crashed so we’re not doing EE this morning.

We are heading down in mid-February. I'm hoping it's sorted out by then, hopefully with Express.

Hours. At least 2-3 that I saw. It was down sometime before 4:30 and came back online around 7ish. But that’s just what I happened to catch when I looked at the app which isn’t that often.

We got in line at Islands of adventure about 715. Entered the park went directly to velociicoaster and was off of that by 8:09 AM. Walked over to lost continent and got in line for Hagrid’s at 8:12 and will report back what happens as the plants develop

According to the app, IOA has early entry for January. BUT, looking specifically on Jan 28th, the app says both parks have early entry. Not sure it will stay like that, but for the time being that day shows both parks.

Us as well.VC as walk on, got to Hagrid’s at 8:20, off the ride at 9:35.
