The last time we were on a disney cruise was 5 years ago and wanted to do the Magic for our 25th wedding anniversary. We took my sister and BIL who have NEVER cruised....
Needless to say we ALL had a simply wonderful time! We did the eastern caribbean (which we have done many times before (with Disney) but thought it would a nice one for my sister and BIL. I am very happy to report that in the 5 years we've been gone from Disney, nothing has gone downhill!'Our cabin attendant was super and so were our dining room servers. I had a great massage from Marcos...he's quite tall and so I had to jump on the massage table! It was super relaxing.
The hit for us was Andy Johnson, singer and piano player in Sessions. We went there every night. The servers knew exactly what we all wanted and brough it to us upon us sitting down in our usual spot which put me to Andy's left! He sounds alot like Elton John and does a great mix of music. I requested a song by Elton called "this train don't stop" and he learned it and did it for me. He's a great guy and we STRONGLY suggest you stop in and tell him Donna, who requested "this train don't stop here anymore" sent you. At the time we were on the cruise1/28-2/4, we ordered his first CD and I got it today!
We also booked a November cruise on the Fantasy and the Mediterranean one starting in Barcelona going to Italy and Crotia for next June.
All in all, the only two things I was disappointed in were the same shows in the theatre, and the same ports. Other than that, it was a wonderful cruise and Andy was a great find!
