Told DS this afternoon that since he did so well in the school spelling bee (placed 6 out of 180) he got to choose where/what we were having for dinner. He chose take out pizza. I looked at the menu for grinders, salads, etc and decided not to order anything different. DH ordered 1 lg pepperoni pizza for DS and 1 lg "garbage" pizza for us. Well so far Ive had 3 of those 8 pieces. Please tell me not to touch anymore! I can barely get it into my fitday for today. Tomorrow's a new day - hopefully I can get outside to walk.
Where is my willpower?

Pizza is a big temptation for me as well....but I ALWAYS regret it the next day. I find that the cheese is too fatty, the meat too greasy, the sauce too salty......you had your pieces, NOW QUIT WHILE YOU'RE STILL AHEAD!

In my best police office voice:

Ma'am step away from the pizza . . . we don't want to have to use lethal force against you :hyper:

Seriously, pizza is one of my favs! I like to eat the toppings and have a salad on the side. Then I drink tons and tons of water afterwards. Sometimes taking off this weight is so hard!

Pizza here too... I've had to plan an "unstructured" day for tomorrow too since DH is in charge of the District Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. I'll be grateful to eat ANYTHING, much less something healthy since I will be so busy tomorrow! :( I'll just have to jump right back OP on Sunday.

How's this for motivation? A slice of a medium sized pie, with cheese and meat runs some 400 calories! After seeing that little tidbit, I have a very hard time eating pizza, though I love it so. When I get an urge for it, I make my own with gobs of veggies, and either goat or feta cheese. I know! Sometimes you just have to have the regular cheesey, greesy, big as the lid of a wine cask pie, (thinking at this very moment of Bizzaro's Pizza, in Titusville. ) so, you did that. Now drink tons of water, and don't, I repeat, don't weigh in today, or tomorrow, or even the next day. Trust me, you just will go  if you do! I'll bet it was really good though! ::yes::

Keep the Faith!

If you have a Chuck E. Cheese in your area, some good news!

We were there for a Birthday party last week and they have 'low carb' pizza. 2 grams per slice. I wasn't on Atkins at the time but, I am going to try it after induction. :)

Chuckees Im ok with - they have a salad bar which I load up on.

This morn both my "boys" are having pizza for breakfast - 1 box gone completely, 1 more partially left. I inputed in fitday and my fat % for yesterday was still ok (higher than usual but still less than 33%)

I was good and has my usual raisin bran, coffee & cranberry juice

I overindulged on pizza last night too... but after not being able to sleep because all that greasy cheese did a number on my stomach, I don't think I'll be doing pizza again any time soon.
