Had my first job interview in 13 years

Trying to re-enter the workforce after living as a SAHM for the last 10 1/2 years. I felt a bizarre combination of fear, embarrassment and anger. Not sure where the anger comes from. But, in the end she said, "can you start Tuesday?" Now to decide if I can make the hours work for my family. I may have to keep looking. Sigh. One down...

Word of Advice!! Know what hours work for your family before you go to a job interview. Don't waste their time and yours on a position that you won't fit in.

I know you don't always know what the hours will be when you apply, but you should know what will work for you before hand.

There was no indication in the ad of the hours. And the admin that called to schedule the interview didn't know if they were flexible, or not. So, I'm off the hook on that one.
