...there is too much bed in those rooms. During our last couple of trips to WDW we've done less of the park commando routine and more chillin' at the resort. I'd never really noticed before, but there's hardly any space for anything but beds. And those chairs were like torture devices. The patio chairs on the balcony were much more comfortable. I realize that the resorts are designed with families in mind, but I'd have sooner had one bed and a sofa with a real chair or two. Nice resort though.

The rooms at the WL are really small. I think they are the smallest rooms of all the deluxe resorts.

I dont mind tho, as long as I have a king size bed Im good!!

I love the WL no matter what the size of the rooms are. That is my home away from home. :)

Sorry you were uncomfortable. :(

Never been to the WL, not even just to visit. Wanted to last June, but just ran out of time. From the pictures I've seen it really looks beautiful though! Maybe next trip!

Yeh, they are on the small side. We stayed at the POR last trip and I kept saying that the rooms felt bigger then the ones we stayed in at the WL and AKL. I know technically they aren't but they did feel bigger-lol.

POR doesn't have queen beds like the WL, does it? I bet that is why the rooms at POR seemed larger. I do like queen beds.

Both the rooms at WL and AKL are 344 sqft, they are the smallest of the deluxe resorts and the rates are the cheapest of the deluxe resorts.

If money permits, next time try the Junior suite (I don't think it is called Junior suite anymore). There is a bedroom and living room. With kids, this works great. It was very nice but a little pricey.

I thought the WL's room was kind of small too. We did not spend much time in the room though, so the size did not bother us too much. We really love the resort and the kids love the bunk beds. We enjoyed sitting out in the balcony and listening to the waterfalls.
