Had a great PET meeting yesterday!

Science, history, English, all had GREAT things to say! It was so nice to hear. Math was not so good (but we knew this going in). The teacher actually kicked my son out of class the day before this scheduled meeting. Not sure why you would do that the day before your PET (it was work related, not behavior related). The math teacher has been teaching for about 40 years and is a bit set in his ways- but the school psychologist really laid it out for him and I think he has a better understanding of my son's diagnoses (he has multiple). The teacher was very receptive to everything the doc said. I really think this is going to work out!

I was dreading this meeting so much. I'm happy it's over!!

That's great! I know teachers have a tough job with all they have to do. It is disappointing when they don't seem to get the issues some children have and what they need to do for them. I hope the math teacher realizes what a positive impact he can have on your son and everything continues to go well.
