I help in our local cancer research shop & get to meet & see some strange things, but this afternoon beat them all.
Two young fellas of about 15 -16 yrs came in are where looking at the cardigains blouses & dresses. When they saw me looking they said they wanted clothes that really old people would wear as they were going to a fancy dress party & wanted to go as a very old married couple. I help them pick out some dresses for one of them, and they were getting some very strange looks from other customer, they were both in the changing room trying on the dresses, & i was laughing & joking with them when another man said i don't know what your laughing at , i want these as he held up a pink bra & knicker set I thought he was joking but he put them on the counter to buy them. That was it then i was in fits of giggles & made for a very enjoy able afternoon.
It's so nice to have customers that want to laugh & not be all moanie

I love watching people when their shopping and hearing conversations soo funny, was in The works the other day and there was alittle boy in there who was about 5 with a lady

lady- how about these paints there lovely, you get your brush dip it in water and press on the paint block and then paint..

The child looked at the paint sent and said innocently

'Where's the water'
Lady- (very sarcasticly) 'in the tap'.

Oh that story reminds me of my colleagues husbands christmas do, they all work on the fish market in plymouth and for their christmas do had to buy one of the others something from a charity shop for no more than a fiver and wear it out to dinner, the pics were great with bloomers worn on top of trousers, moth eaten old cardigans and floppy hats. very funny
