I received the following this morning from another site that I frequent:

The two new Epcot restaurants currently under construction will be added to Disney's Advance Dining Reservation System hopefully in July or August. Italy's new restaurant, Via Napoli, will be full-service and should open in September. The name of the new Mexico restaurant will be Hacienda de San Angel, which will have both indoor and outdoor seating.

I was under the impression that Hacienda de San Angel was being built where the Mexican counter service restaurant in Epcot was. Is this right? If so, is it now becoming a table service that requires ADRs? I truly hope not--about the ADRs. We are going in September, and I was so hoping to eat there again, but don't want to have to make ADRs. I just wanted to pop in when we were hungry.

Thanks so much!

It's going to be both. It will serve lunch and snacks as counter service, but its dinner menu will be sit-down, table service.

Oh! I hate to hear that. Last December we had a counter service dinner about 7:00 overlooking the water and just loved it. When we go we will be on the QSDP, so I guess we will have to do a late lunch. I can't wait to see what they have on the menu. Wonder if it will be anything new. Of course, I better just hope they are open by September. :hourglass

Thanks!

It's supposed to be both counter and table, but we don't know if they will have any kind of counter component at dinner, or , if they do, if the counter guests would have access to waterside seating or be able to view fireworks from the restaurant.

There was one report that they would have counter service downstairs and table service upstairs, no telling how accurate that was.

Thanks! I guess I will just have to wait like everyone else. Patence is not my strong point!

Im also dying to know and am hoping it will be open during our trip Sep 10-18th. We have the regular DDP and all our TS meals are booked but since I booked a signature dining experience I have one open night to pay OOP for dinner and was hoping to make this one on that night..

Cant wait to hear more news!
