H2O Glow questions

Can we pay for the special event food with our dining plan? Also, what time do the buses stop returning to resorts and you have to go to Disney Springs? I heard this is an issue at the end of the night. Any other tips or suggestions is welcome. Thanks in advance!

We went last year and left around 11:45 and had to transfer at Springs to go to our hotel. That was the only bad thing of the whole night. We got to springs and walked to the pop bus stop and the bus had a broken door after loading (we were not able to fit on that bus). They had to unload that bus and make a line for all those people at a neighboring area. They had to dispatch another bus there and load those people onto it. Then they had to eventually dispatch another bus for us. I think we were at springs nearly an hour waiting because of that broken bus door. Just bad luck there. We had the best time! Walked on every slide. Met characters. We did get some food but didn’t have dining plan and honestly now I can’t remember what we are. I imagine dining plan works for meals and the usual snack type items. If that party was going on in September we would do it again. It was a lot of fun

We went in July until about 11:30pm and had to transfer at Disney Springs after we left the party. This was a bad ending to an otherwise fantastic night! We quickly caught a bus to Springs, but the problems began once we found our bus stop (Yacht club) and had to wait, wait, and wait. When a bus finally came, there was a problem with it so everyone had to get back off, plus it only loaded half of the guests waiting, so 2 more buses had to be called. It was pretty much a disaster. We all agreed we'd love to do this party again, but definitely not with this type of transport back to our resort.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about these problems trying to get back to resorts. For this reason, I think we will find a different way back to our resort.

Did lots of googling and found this post on the Disney Moms Panel that said you can use your dining plan credits towards food at the event.

mid you are staying at a Disney hotel you can get free towels for your group in the store. Just show them your magic band and they will ask what hotel you are staying at
