H1N1 strain question

with all this talk about this virus, I was just wondering if you've already had this flu, can you get it again (like a different strain of it)?
I'm pretty sure that my whole family had it a couple of weeks ago (we had all the symptoms, but never did go to the doctor to check, but just took regular flu medicine until it went away), so if we did have it, are we pretty much immune to it for a while (perhaps until a new strain comes along), or once you've had it, are you pretty safe from ever getting it again?

I just talked to my son's allergy office, and the nurse told me once you have the H1N1 strain, you should be immune to it until about next summer, unless the strain changes before then.

Hi, we had the current strain and it turned out to be mild. I think it's possible to get it again once it mutates.

If it mutates yes you can have it again . Otherwise you are immune if you had it.
That is the one reason why I am glad my two children and I had it back in June....

You cannot get it again unless it mutates and they have no idea if that will happen at this point?
