DH and I were planning to take DD3 to Hollywood and Vine for the Playhouse Dis breakfast (pre-park opening ADR). Have read tons of bad reviews about H&V but seems most reviews were of lunch and dinner. How is breakfast? DD is mainly into Little Einstiens and could really care less about Oso and Handy Manny so we were thinking about cancelling. Any reviews/advice regarding breakfast? Thank you!!

our family ate there this past June for breakfast with the ONLY reason being that we wanted to be in inside the park before it opened..

My DS's were at the time 10 & 8 and had NO desire to visit the characters and honestly we didnt even know half of their names...

We were on the DxDP and wanted a sit down breakfast and that's the only place in HS...

I too had heard bad things about the food not being fresh enough or tasty enough and that the service was lackluster - but we did not experience that at all!!

We found the food to be really good - hot & fresh! and our waitress was from our hometown which was exciting too - she was WONDERFUL! and got a large tip.

I can say that the singing & dancing was a little annoying, but mostly b/c I didnt know the words to sing along - the characters were great and still came to our table to meet the boys...

So, for us - it was a good choice..and if we wanted to be in the park before it opened again, I'd eat there again...

I cant say anything about lunch or dinner..sorry..

Thank you! Only interested in breakfast anyway :)

we were there with our two grandkids and four adults. Breakfast was fresh and hot. We all enjoyed our meals as well as the two grandkids. They had plenty of choices as we did too. We have also done the dinner and we found it to be fine. Remember that all these reviews are so different. everyone likes something different then the next person..

We just did H&V for breakfast with my 3 year old in July and loved it. It was probably our best character interaction of the whole trip. Then, every half an hour or so, the kids get to go up and dance/sing with the characters. It was so much fun.

We booked H&V breakfast this past January because DS3 loves Little Einstiens. We enjoyed this breakfast very much and plan on doing it again next May.

Give it a try!

We've only done the breakfast here, but both times the food was great. Plenty of it and fresh.

Good to read all this...we have it booked during our week this December. We've never been to H&V for breakfast so now I'm looking forward to it!

Too bad DS REALLY wants to see Quincy...so we'll go wait in line outside Playhouse Disney right after breakfast!!!:goodvibes
