When should we arrive for the 9pm Fantasmic with a dinner package? And how long is the walk (with a 4-year old, no stroller) from H&V to the Fantasmic location? We have a 5pm and a 6:10pm ADR for the Star Wars character dinner, and our friends let us pick the one we like --- which one would you pick? (I was leaning towards the 6:10pm so that we can fit a mid-day break, but am a bit worried that we will feel rushed.)

1- 8:30-ish.

2- Allow 10-15 minutes.

3- 5PM is "safer"
But, if you choose 6:10pm, be sure to ask for your bill when you are seated, and settle up long before
you are finished dining.

:welcome: to the DISboards, TigerE!

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

What takes so long? I have a 6:30 Mickey Jedi Fantasmic res and I thought that was plenty of time.

We had a 6:00pm res last week and didn't get seated until 7:00. We took our time and spent alot of time with each char. We still make the show by 8:30 with no problem.

We even took the long way there!

Thank you all again! We decided on the 5pm time in the end, to be on the safe side. Perhaps we get seated earlier with a 5pm ADR (a long wait for dinner with a hungry 4-year old in tow may be a bit problematic).

It took an hour to get seated, with a reservation?! If that happens to us, we're leaving, and they better not try to charge me a cancellation fee.

Did you or will you post the one you will cancel on the dining cancellation board? Depending on date, we may want your cancelled ADR ;)
