so how would you tackle H.S without fastpasses? we want to do Toy story, T.O.T, RockN Roll, Indy, Backlot tour, and movie ride. should we do it in that order?

I would get there at rope drop and put RNR ahead of TOT

It's been my experience that Toy Story Mania is one of the toughest tickets in town so to speak. If you do not have Magic Bands where you can choose your FP's in advance then I would recommend getting that one 1st.

My next choice would agree with PP - go for RRRC 1st, because ToT tends to be more open most of the time.

Star Tours is about the same as ToT - wait wise that is in my experience.

Definitely do Toy Story at Rope Drop or FP+ it. Waits can get crazy long with limited cars and seats/car.
Then RRC 2nd, ToT 3rd, and ST (All three can get long but move pretty quickly)
Wait to do TGMR until later morning/afternoon as most people go in there when they arrive.
Everything else will be fairly open all day.
