Hi, I am looking for info. ao the WL! We will be staying there in Apr. from 22-29, our 1st deluxe stay!

1) Where are the H/C rooms located?
2) Do the H/C rooms have more then 1 bed? At CBR we had 1 king but 2 rooms so it was ok.
3) DO H/C rooms have balconies? I was hoping to request a room facing the MK side even to have a small view!!! Also the fireworks!

Any concerns I should have? I want my DD to have a wonderful trip! My other kids too!:goodvibes Thanks for any advice!:thumbsup2

As far as where all the HC rooms are located I can't be sure but we had one CY view it was on the 1st floor Room 1015/ 1017 and found it very convienant we had the connecting room. I also had one on the 5th floor cy view. The amount of rooms that can see even the smallest bit of MK are few and far between. We all (DW DS9 DS7) loved the WL and would go back in heartbeat.

Thanks for the reply! We hope its a great choice for our family!

What kind of room did you reserve? We had a fully accessible woods view room once on the first floor with two double beds. It had a view of a small pond. There was a fairly steep ramp we had to traverse to get to the room- it was located fairly close to the food court, so it was a bit of a hike to/from the lobby and bus area. I also had challenges with the accessible bathroom- frankly I would not stay at WL again unless it was the villas section. I wish I could give a more favorable review.---Kathy

Thanks for the replies!

I discussed a H/C rooms when I booked. I guess I am not sure if they booked a fully acc. rm.? I did explain DD uses a wheelchair full time. We did upgrade to a woodsview.

Thanks for the pics.

Maybe I should call beack and ask a few more questions.:confused3

Thanks!:goodvibes

I think there may be differences between "fully accessible rooms" and "roll=in shower rooms". I'm not positive but if you need a roll-in shower then make sure you ask for one.

I would ask for the Roll in shower room also they way you are sure you are getting a room that will accommodate the WC and not just a room with some grab bars and won't meet your needs.
ETA: Wanted to make sure that wasn't misunderstood, I mean if you require a room that will accommodate the WC and need the roll-in shower make sure that its not just a request on your room reservation and that they have called special services and that is the room that is booked for you.

It was the "roll in shower" woods view room that we actually had challenges with. In fact, we were moved over to the Contemporary, but at first I was asked if I could transfer to a manual w/c so that I could get into the bathroom. The room was spacious enough though and had two double beds- they were a bit on the high side for transfers.----Kathy
