Gymboree jackpot!!

I know this is not Disney related but I hit the major jackpot yesterday..

I was shopping for my own mother's day gift and I was desperately trying to find a new dress for myself... So what do I buy?? children clothes..

Anyway, I went into Gymboree yesterday and they had boxes full of clothes they were trying to get rid of... HUGE boxes of clothes. They were all marked down 70%... While I was rumaging through them I heard the sales clerk talking to another lady about some coupon. I asked her about it and she said it was a Friends and Family coupon that was sent in the mail... I said "Oh I don't have one of those" She said not to worry about it and gave me one... It was for another 30% off!!

I got 26 articles of clothing from Gymboree for 70.00 dollars!! I was thrilled... Most of the remaining clothes were boy clothes and lucky for me I have 2 boys!! The mom's of girls were upset and asked why no girl clothes and the saleslady said "unfortunately most of our girl clothes sell before we have a chance to discount them" Just one more reason why I am glad to have boys!!

Thanks, I just wanted to share my story!! I love it when I get a good deal!

Which Gymboree were you at? Did they still have lots of boys clothes left? I live in Kent which is not too far from North Canton. Hello neighbor.

I've had a hard time getting any clearance girl clothing 2T everywhere. I think there was a lot of girls born in that timeframe.

Belden Village... They had quite a bit left but it was going fast!

I love Gymboree clothing! They are made to last! I have outfits that have been worn by all 3 of my girls!
