GVF Parking

Our wait list recently matched and I am wondering how the parking situation is? Is there a DVC lot? I really hope so! Are the villas a far walk from the main building? From the photo I saw it looks as if the villas are actually closer to the Poly than the GF?

Parking for VGF is out the front door behind the Senses Spa. The walk to the GF is 4 minutes under a covered walkway or you can walk around the pool and enter through the GF side door.

Pull up to the VGF porte-cochere, a greeter will help you unload your car. If you want bell services to take your luggage to your room, they are usually in the area.

Valet parking is only at the GF.

Agree with Bill, the parking lot is convenient/close enough to the villas.

Although the walk to the main building isn't far, going to Gasparilla or the boat dock is a slightly longer hike.

I knew that the dock was at the other end of the resort, but it was a much shorter walk than what we encountered at BWV, OKW, AKV or SSR. Gasparilla was hard to find IMO so it took longer to walk there than I would have expected. But coming back it seemed like we were back at VGF in nothing flat. Maybe it was because we took time to enjoy the view. .

What is Gaspirallas? Is it a quick serve restaurant? I didn't think there was a food court there? How far would the walk be from the Villas to the Poly? Comparable to the walk to the boat dock?

We are staying in a studio also and I on an extended trip.....where is the laundry? On only one floor?

VGF is much smaller than most expect. The walk around the property and the GF is very pleasant, I don't mind it at all.

The VGF laundry is on the 4th floor next to the elevators.

It is in the main building back by the water- you have to go around the outside to get to it I believe (unless you are staying concierge and take the right elevator down to it). For my husband and I the walk to the main building of the Poly was comparable to the walk to the boat dock (less than 10 min) but we have no children and walk rather quickly- it depends on your party size and speed.
