guy problem

Hello everyone,
I have a problem i'm hoping y'all could help me with. I've been dating a great guy for the past few weeks. I've known him since september and have been to his house many times for various social events. my problem is that i think i may be falling for one of his roommates. i like the person i'm dating very much and would never do anything to hurt him. but i think i'm hurting myself more by thinking about his roomie. what should i do?

I agree with Minnie.

If you are with the guy and you are attracted to his roommate, then you obviously aren't serious about him. If he wants to be serious, then it is not fair to him to stay with him.

And, it is not fair to him to date his roommate either. You could let it cool off for a couple of months and then contact the roommate if you are still thinking of him then, but to just move from one to the other is obvious trouble.

I had a boyfriend in college who became interested in my roommate. They've been married about 25 years now. Roommate was my best friend from high school, but the friendship didn't survive the situation. It was a very uncomfortable semester in that little dorm room.
