Ok so my schools Sadie Hawkins Dance is set for February 16 and I'm really excited! But the guy I asked is my dad's best friend's son and we've kinda grown up together. He's really sweet and we are going after school Tuesday to get our shirts for the dance (IDK how it is at yall's schools but at ours couples hafta match). Any way the only thing that kinda bothers me about it is that I just turned 18 and he's only 15. I mean it's not that I'm shallow but it's a little strange. Am I wrong for thinking this? What do you guys think?

I think that's fine, if he's really sweet and you really like him. It's fine that you're a few years older.

not a big deal...when i was 16 and a sophmore my girlfriend was 18 and a senior and it didnt really matter...but when she left for college thats when it became an issue and it ended but while it lasted it was normal...and now im 19 and my ex gf was 16-17 when we dated and again it was fine but low and behold I left fro college and it fell through but its not the age that matters....as long as its within reason lol....i dont think for me i would go any younger then she was cuz then yea it would be weird

I know in CT there is a law that once you hit 16 you can't 'do anything' with someone more than 2 years younger than you and when you turn 18 you can 'do anything' with anyone younger than you period or else you can get into a lot of trouble.

Just don't get in trouble was my message. Because these days it is very easy for anything to be considered as wrong. So be careful. But no worries if ya'll like each other and have known each other for a while, then you should be fine.
