We go to Disney on June 1st. Last time we went in 2013, we went for lunch at BOG and didnt need reservation, just queued for ages! Just seen on here that you now need an ADR! Went to make one and completely gutted that there are no times available! Our trip is planned out to a T so I cant really swap any days about. Can anyone recommend another good QS in MK? We loved Peco Bills when we last went but dont like the look of the new menu! I just want BOG or a big chunky chicken wrap!! :confused3

Our favourite MK counter service is CHH, but don't give up on BOG. Keep checking periodically, especially around 45 days out when people cancel their packages without a fee (maybe 45 has changed to 30) can't remember for sure. Also check a week out when people might begin to cancel room only reservations and definitely check a day or two before you want to eat there when people cancel to avoid the cancellation fees.

I also think the 60/30 day mark might be a good time to check as people firm up their fp's and begin to dump extra ADR's they've booked. Good luck! :goodvibes

This. We switched our BOG day probably about 40 days ahead of our trip last year, so it's definitely possible. Also, watch MDE on your phone while you are there. We made some day-before and day-of dining switches because they popped up on MDE.

If you don't get BOG, I have to second the recommendation for Columbia Harbor House. The food is good and has some offerings that are different than other CS restaurants. It will seem very, very crowded when you walk in, but the lines move fast and you can eat upstairs where it is much quieter and has a nice view.

We like Columbia Harbour House a lot. But I agree with pp don't give up. A friend of mine was telling me about how much she wanted BoG and a few other hard to get ADRs just 2 weeks out from her trip and I got it for her along with every other one she wanted. Just keep checking.

Thanks all :goodvibes

I will definitely keep my eye out. Realised that I have two MK QS days planned so I can try both days. CHH menu looks good. My daughter would love the salmon and cous cous!

Or hop on the monorail and go over to Poly, they have a decent QS there.

This is also a great idea! Didnt even think of that! We usually go and do O'hanas and I love a wonder are Poly but we arent this year so this would give me a good excuse for a Poly wonder :)

Just keep trying to book your BOG reservation. We are going to be there next week and just 2 nights ago I got a dinner reservation. My wife suddenly said that she wanted dinner there (I think she learned about Beast being there) so I stalked the reservations for a few days and one finally came open on the day we wanted.

How many people are in your party? Since you choose your own seat for BOG lunch, it doesn't hurt to have separate reservations for each member of your party. In other words, if you have two people for example, try searching for two reservations for 1 person each at the same time or within a few minutes of each other.

Just got back from our trip.

We Did not have BOG reservations at all. My party got there as they were still serving breakfast. (First thing we did once we got in the gate at MK) The lady said they had available seating for breakfast and could seat us now or to come back at 10:30 am to see if there was anything available for lunch. I looked at the breakfast menu and I decided to chance it since I was only about an hour from that time.

So I took my family to Gaston's for a cinnamon roll while we waited. At 10:20 am I was there and waiting. I could see other families with ADRs start to like up at the booth and they told them to just like up over there to the right and someone would be coming to get them.

2 different ladies were in the booth at this time and I thought I would try my luck again. Got told the same thing that "told me to come back and see if there was anything available" in a kind of a snotty manner.

I just said "thank you ma'am" and went and sat down on the bricks with my family going to try and wait it out.

Well, 5 minutes later, the "other" wonderful girl in the booth, pointed to me in a "don't make a big deal about it" manner. I did the whole "look behind me and point to myself" routine thinking she was pointing somewhere else. She nodded yes. I came up there, and she asked how many were in my party. I told her she gave me the menus and told me to go over there to the right and stand in line.

I thanked her profusely without making a huge deal about it since the other girl was right there helping someone else.

The shocker was when we got into the castle, there was a ton of availability in the main dining hall and the beast's west wing" We couldn't have been there an hour before they gave us our food and were out the door. And there were still lots of availability.

So my advice to you in kinda the words of Dori "Just keep checking"

Yes! This works. I've done it twice before.

I did think about this after a saw a post of someone else doing it. We have a party of three. Me and my husband and my DD who will be 22 months. Do i do a single reservation for her?!

How about one adult and one child, and one adult? That would make more sense.

I'm pretty sure each person must be accounted for with an ADR at BOG. I would book what you can now and keep checking back for openings for different combinations of 1, 2, or 3 people.

As everyone else has mentioned, don't give up! It'll be much easier to find reservations if you break up your party (you'll still be able to sit together).

Also worth a shot, last year, in March, we were able to get into BOG as a walk-up (no line outside) at 2:00. I think the cut-off for lunch is 2:30. We stayed in there for over an hour, and since most of the place had cleared out, we were able to take a lot of pictures of all three rooms without being in anyone's way!

If that doesn't work out, aside from Columbia Harbour House, we really enjoyed Pinocchio Village Haus. The menu there is pretty standard WDW, but we liked being able to see IASW from our seats!
