Has anyone been to one of the shows recently? Were they any good? Did they hit the stage on time?

My DH went two weeks ago in S. Florida. He said it was good. They didn't go until until 11pm or a little later.

Wow! I didn't realize they were touring again! I just Googled them and OH MY Axl has changed a bit huh? Did he perfect the hair weave or what?

I remember when just the slight sway of his hips would bring me to my knees...LOL They were sooo huge when I was in my early twenties!

Bet the show will be great though!

You know that it's just Axl with basically a back up band, right? It's too bad they couldn't put aside their differences and regroup. Enjoy the show, I hear Axl still sounds like his old self!

I was hoping the reports my husband had gotten about how late they were going on was only a couple of venues. I wanted to take my son but he would never last that late.

Same thing happened over here. One of my friends went and they started at 12 and ended at 2am. They did had 2 bands before them (Papa Roach being one of them).

They are going on late, pissing off promoters, causing them massive union overtime bills.

It's the Axl Rose show in more ways than one.

Want to see a good band, go to see Velvet Revolver. That's the true talent from G&R. They are working on a new CD and should be on the road by next spring.

You would think Axel would want to maximize his earnings, not shell out for overtime billls. I can't wait to hear what the union overtime at the Garden show is going to be for the show.

I was really hoping Axel was getting on stage on time. There is a little history/story behind why I wanted to take my one son, but not if it's a midnight show. At least he's showing up though .
