hi :wave2: Thinking of taking DD who is 4 to gulivers world next week.

Just wondering if anyone has been and if they recomend it?

We went to the one in Milton Keynes and it was really good for young children. I love theme parks. It may seem a bit old and dated but it seems like there is loads there. I

Here is the link for the one in Warrington

I am sure you will have a great time. Let us know how you get on.

Well we went when our eldest DS was 4ish and i thought it was a horrible place sorry to say. It was dirty and untidy! He wanted to go in the ball pit and play but it stunk of urine and was generally gross :sad2: Maybe things have changed alot since then :confused3

We visited twice last year. I think it is clean and tidy, we have Camelot Theme Park about 4 miles from us here and i have chosen Gullivers every time above it. We have 2 girls who had their 4th and 6th birthdays there and it was perfect for them. We do get discounted tickets through work but believe it is well worth it.

I have been to the Milton Keynes one many times! Its very good for under 8's. Its fairly lame in terms of rides etc, but great for younger kids. Its good value, and there is a lot to do there.

I would recommend it based on Milton Keynes. The one thing I would say is it makes you appreciate Disney more.. and makes you realise how amazing Disney are at getting people on and off rides. The balloon "big Wheel" .. Ive never seen anything so slow. Stilll.. the little kids enjoy it!

ITA :goodvibes

When our DD's were younger we used to go all the time, they thoroughly enjoyed it. For younger children it's great fun. I much prefer it to Camelot! :thumbsup2

not quite in the same league..

I have been to camelot loads of times when I was younger.. we used to go 3 times a year.. The tower of terror was the first "roller coaster" that i went on. I used to love it however I tthink Gullivers world will be better for my daughter.

Im taking my two daughters there next wednesday. Got some tickets through work for £6.50 each.

We went twice last year, its OK. not in the same league as disney obviously, but the kids liked it.

The food is dreadful though.....be warned.

We always take our own food anyway and get a few chips to add onto the sandwiches.
