Gullivers at Garden Grove Review

Last Sunday, 9/2 we ate at Gullivers. The theme was seafood. The characters were Pluto and Goofy.

The food was good, the place a little chaotic. It was a circular room, so down below around the ring was the buffet selections. You sat up just above that. The folks replacing the trays with food were a little slow, and a few times there were backups of folks waiting to access items. The dessert area was not replenished that often, so it was slim picking when we went up for it.

It was good food, but NOT worth the 29.99 asking price.
Overall, I give this a C for value and selection.

We ate there a few months ago and were thrilled we could get a last minute ressie at a character meal...that should have been a clue right there!

It wasn't packed either (another clue) but they sat everyone in the middle section which PACKED everyone in! It was difficult, if not impossible, for the characters to get even near the table. No one at the table could move out their chair without hitting the person behind them. Which, of course, also made it difficult to get up and go back to the buffet line.

The food itself was OK but definately not worth going back again...especially for the price!
