guitar hero help!!

Hi guys i was wondering if any gamer buffs would be able to help me, my youngest son was thinking about asking for guitar hero AEROSMITH for the ps2 for christmas, now i have looked at it but can anyone tell me if you need to buy the bundle which includes a guitar thing? if so where can i get one as i have looked online and i am so confused, or can i just get the ps2 game and he plays it without the guitar, or can you buy one of the other bundles and play different guitar hero games on them. hope this makes sense.

DS has this for the Wii. Since we had already purchased Guitar Hero we just bought the disc only version having already got the guitar.
You'll need to buy the bundle with the guitar otherwise you will not be able to paly the game

Thanks Reid for your help, i was looking online for some help and cannot find the bundle relevant to the aerosmith one, is it possible to buy a guitar hero bundle and would it be compatible with the aerosmith disc only?

All our family love guitar hero on the PS2. Once you have the guitar you can play any of the PS2 guitar hero games on it. We actually didn't like the Aerosmith game as much as the other games as we found it much easier.

If you are going to have to buy a package which includes a guitar, there is a new guitar hero game for the PS2 about to be released. It's Guitar Hero World Tour and the full package for that game includes a guitar and the drum kit etc. You might wish to consider this.

BTW Ebay usually sell lots of PS2 Guitar Hero guitars which might save you some money.

You could get that and buy the controller (that's the guitar) separately. The guitar controller looks like this (could be slightly different):

Ring around or browse the net including Ebay and you will hopefully get it cheap. Make sure it's compatible with PS2 and that specific Guitar Hero version.

The reviews aren't great for the Aerosmith version. As poohmadmum said there's the brand new version called World Tour but it's a lot more expensive. Amazon say the bundle for PS2 (with drums and 2 guitars) will be out on 21st of this month costing £130. That'll be a lot of fun with all the instruments! Just be warned Cheryl - it's very addictive.

My nephews got this 2 Christmas's ago and I spent all day Christmas afternoon playing it at my parents house. I actually got told off from my dad to put it down and socialise - I was 40 at the time!

Boxing day morning I was online ordering one for both myself and hubby so we could play together. You have been warned...........
