Well my $ came today not going until august but wanted to get a reasonable rate just in case there is an extreme drop , anyway the first thing I did when I opened the package was not count and check it but SMELL it . Come on own up how else loves the smell

I ordered from travelex last week and got 1.49 , close enough for me to 1.50 which is what I sm happy with . If it rises before we go I may add to the holiday fund

Yep I'm ones of those who love the smell of crisp new $$$$$$ ........... not sure if it's the smell of the notes or the knowledge that having dollars means that we'll soon be going to Disney that I actually love

Yep, I don't purchase as much cash as I used to nowdays but I have to have some so that I can regularly sniff the notes. What a rush!!

considering that 90% of US Bank Notes are tainted with various drugs (mostly cocaine) ...
Less sniffing with the UK Bank Notes (well ... only 80% are tainted with drugs )

btw I'm a sniffer too

The US paper has a different smell. Newspaper, paperbacks, etc. I often associate this smell with the holidays.
