Has anyone else went out and got this disney wii game???? I saw it at the store, and we decided to give it a try (39.99) because you can play a 4 players cooperative game-----it's sooooo funny, and the little theme song gets stuck in your head like the boo to you parade.......anyway was delightfully surprised and played with three of the kids last night for 2 hrs!!!!
It's nice to have a few hours of fun without all the bickering.....and on cooperative play you are all on one big team, you can send cards to help other players , and for a few things we all had to work simultaneously together to solve a puzzle.....so we were not trying to best each other all night!!!
We were just on the beginner version...can't wait to see what the hard version has on it!!!!!
the graphics are cool too!!!!

Thanks for the review! I have not heard of this but like the idea of a team game. It's going on the wish list for my mom to give the kids.

Thanks for posting this, I have been curious about the game. Would it be fun for adults without the kids around?

I'm so glad, I got it for dd for Christmas.

to answer:

We have only played so far on the beginner detective, and the game does get more complex as you go.....I'm assuming the younger kids would need help with the later levels, because they ask you to infer stuff from the clues you find (not just telling you the suspect is short, but telling you that the gas was at the ceiling....so you could infer only the short people weren't affected!) Personally, I can't wait to get to the hard level.....because I always draw the hard hat card....and that protects you from being knocked out---sounds like a blast!!!

and the name of the game is Guilty Party!

P.s. If you shake your remote on another person's turn.....your character will hoot and cheer the person on.....we got carried away, and then the announcer guy says "Enough of that!!!!"

We are having fun so far, and unlocking alot of other places to go......although we haven't had time for all the extra stuff yet!!!!

You didn't mention how old your kids are. What is the age recomendation for this game?

I bought it several weeks ago for myself. I love it! I have only gotten to play it a few times, but it is fun. My 8 year old daughter like it on the beginner level and did great at figuring it out.

Great game and I think it is fun for both kids and adults!

DH and I play it, we don't have kids, and we have a lot of fun with it :thumbsup2

My daughter (10) had her heart set on buying this one the day it came out. I don't pay full price for many video games so told her we would if she paid half of it. So she saved up and did extra chores for me and her grandparents until she had enough.

She actually decided she would buy the entire game for herself so it would not be a family game and she could take it with her when she left. She learned this lesson of things belonging to the family when my oldest moved to college this year and couldn't take the video games, movies, or yearbooks that I had paid for unless they were a specific gift for her as they belong to the family and stay in my house....lol

For anyone who may be interested in buying this game, its available at gamestop.com (used) for $32.99. You can use code CAG16 to get 16% off and code "saver" for free shipping. I got it for $26.69 shipped. :thumbsup2
