Guidelines for future cruises from a relative newbie

I don't know, but I suspect that this thread will devolve into vicious personal and political attacks just as others with similar topics have so far...

I don't think anyone knows right now, not even the cruise lines or the regulatory agencies. There's a wide variety of things that they could do. A lot depends upon what the status of the virus is when they want to try to open. I hope that the CDC puts in place scientific based guidelines, like they have for norovirus, to help reduce the risks. It's a total wait and see game at this point. I don't know if they could announce anything at this point that would surprise me. Anger or disappoint, yes, but surprise, probably not.
