we are thinking of getting these, can anyone tell me what u thought of themif you used them?
We are going for 14 days and I want to make sure the jourrnal has enough days.
Also, is is buly to carry around, we will have a stroller, and we carry around autograph books anyway, but it says it's 200 pages??? yikes?

any info is appreciated :)

That is a great book - we had those for both of my kids when they were younger. We didn't use them for autographs, and there are a bit big to carry around. If you have a stroller, that should be fine though. But they have great information and photos, some stickers I think, different little trivia things for the parks, a place for kids to keep a little diary. They are really worth the money, IMO.

I bought one for both my DD and my niece as part of their WDW surprise bag. The books are pretty large and bulky but the idea is great and DD is looking forward to the journaling. I don't think she will use it as an autograph book honestly. It just is too big for that I think, but it would be nice to have everything in one book she can go back and look at later. We will have a stroller for DD 20mo and so that will make it better to bring to the parks, but if we did not have a stroller then it would make carrying it around a little harder to do.

My younger two kids LOVE these books. We don't carry them around the park as autograph books because they're rather big, but my kids do journal in them every night when we get back to the resort, which is great. They love reading them at home prior to our trips, and even bring them to school for their quiet reading times. Very worth the price.

I bought one of these for both my kids to share, and they split each page into two - which they managed to do ok, with a bit of creative pen markings. I gave it to them on the flight, so they could also read up on what they could look forward to.

Carrying it around was never in my plan (and they are very big/bulky, so imagine this would be a challenge) The idea was that they would fill it in every night back at the resort, as they reviewed the day.

In terms of having enough pages, we were on a 14 day vacation, and it includes 14 blank trip day pages. However they were not needed. You see for us, the downside was that although this started really well, by about day 4 the good intention of doing it every night got sidetracked by late night swims in the resort pool, planning for the next day, other souvenirs they had purchased in the day, late night pizza feasts or in most cases sheer exhaustion. So this book remains incomplete.

I do keep reminding them that we need to look back at video and photos so they can recall what they did in order to get it updated. ....and someday I guess they will, but for now it remains a somewhat blank souvenir.

Next time, I think I would just get them to make a video diary review of each day in their own words, and then its not so fixed on what they have to review.

Just a thought - she could stick the autographs from the regular autograph book (or photocopies of them) on the large autograph pages

Thanks for all the great responses! I think I will go ahead and get these, but welcome more feedback and use ideas!

We love ours- so far we've been using it for trip planning, but are planning to take it on our next trip

I will be placing my order tomorrow these are exactly what I am looking for, think I am going to order only one. Think DS might be to young to enjoy.

We have one, and its way to big to carry into parks. Ill take paper to get autographs and paste them into it.
Its a nice book but I was a bit dissapointed with the pages quality. The pics were ok, but not great and yds dropped it (the day it arrived) and the whole binding busted nearly half way out(and he is two so it dropped all of 18" maybe)
I was happy however with the info in it and the lay out is great. We can markw hat we saw and rate it and add stickers to what we did. There is a lot of space on the back

We purchased one for our granddaugher; however we are driving 1100 miles so this is something for the trip to help her enjoy the Magic while we are on our way. Give her an idea of what she is going to see and what to expect as well as a way to journal her memories and the things that stand out to her about each day.
