I am looking into booking our firt tript to DLP in the next few months. I am a veteran of the WDW parks in the states, but know NOTHING of DLP. I have been looking online to purchase a guidebook, in English. The only book I can find is from several years ago, and I am afraid it will be outdated. Can anyone recommend a current guidebook that I can use to help plan my first trip? Thanks!!

There is one that stands out head and shoulder above any other and it's A Brit's Guide to Disneyland Resort Paris - forget the 'Brit' part it's great for anyone from anywhere. The author is sometimes present on these boards and certain members of this board have contributed and been credited.

It's THE definitive DLRP guidebook.

We have this book, it's really good and it got us through our 1st visit.

I have the 2006 version of a Brit's guide to Disneyland Resort Paris and would agree its well worth the money (£8.99 but might be cheaper on Amazon). There is a voucher on the inside back cover for Planet Hollywood that is for 20% off food and 10% in the shop, so you could get the cost of the book back as well.
If you're looking to buy the up to date copy online it should be easy enough to recognise from a pic as in the top right hand corner it says 2006 - 2007 in red.
It has plenty of pics, useful info and maps of both parks among other things.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks everyone! I just ordered one off Amazon. Looking forward to getting it. I am thinking of planning a last minute trip from 2 - 5 November for my husband and our sons (one is 4 years old and the other just a baby at 4 months). Wish me luck!

I too would reccomend this book. I have the last version and the one before and I think it is really helpful. Someone gave me the AA guide and it is nowhere near as good.
