We will be entering DL with an AP and are not staying onsite. I have a reservation for the Minnie breakfast at 7:30am on a day when DL opens and hour early (7am) for those with priviledges.

Do we enter through any turnstile or will there be a specific one for dining reservations?

Also, this is Thursday March 29 and it's supposed to be packed! I need a sense for how long it will take to actually get to the restaurant. What are security and the entrance turnstiles like that early on a 10 day?

Thanks for helping me make my 40th birthday celebration magical :)

The gate you want to enter in is actually all the way to the west, or the downtown Disney side. It will have a sign underneath it that says Character Breakfast. You will want to get there plenty early. If it were me, I would plan on being at security at 6:30. But I do like to leave plenty of time. I have only had a 7:10 reservation, but they let you through the gate right at 7 for that time, so I'm sure they will let you in early, just not sure how early. But I would try at 7 if it were me and see what they tell you. They earlier you can get in and get eating and meeting all the great characters, the earlier you can get out and enjoy the park. The first couple hours in the park are very important. Much lower crowds than the rest of the day.

The gate to use for entry to your reservation is to the far west end of the entrance gates.
It's the area with the red squiggle in this pic.
