Guests Say the Darndest Things...

One time inline to get Frozen Lemonade, at MGM, the geust infront of me was getting POd and blaming the cast member for not taking a credit card or somthing. Idr what exatly.

XD
I find that this is a pet peeve of mine but when people call the rides other names such as FAST TRACK. Mission to Mars.

For some reason i've heard it so much that it just eerks my nerve.

No, I'm with you there. Can you not read the map? and people usually come up with wrong names that either (A) in no way describe the ride like the actual title does or (B) is more complicated than the actual name.

I hate to say it, but seriously, how dumb are you if you can'tlook at a map and repeat the name that is already there?

And I don't like the Disneyland/Disney World confusion, drives me nuts. it's like people didn't want to take the time to actually figure out where they are going. Just offends me aesthetically.

I watched a special on Food Network a few years back that states they inject salt water into the turkey legs. This might make the normaly less salty turkey taste like the saltier ham.

They probably inject the salt to make you thirsty so you'll want a big huge expensive drink!
;)

I chalk it up to being uneducated when people say Disneyland/Disney World. It drives me nuts, but at the same time I can overlook that.

When we were on the bus in December I listened to a teenager tell her friends about the town that was by Disneyland. They let people live there for free. But, they had to agree to have their curtains open and always have their tables set with fake food. They also have to agree to have "dummies" in their living room so it always looks like someone is home. She couldn't remember the name of the town. But, right before we got to the park she remembered it was called Celebration.

BAA HAA !! that is hillarious. people come up with the craziest stuff. I love the people at Animal Kingdom who dont beleive the animals are real. I almost got into an argument while we were there over this, but just let it go. if you want to beleive the Tigers are Animatronic, by all means go ahead....

Okay, I have one but it is not Disney related. I thought it was pretty funny though. I teach at a school where we sometimes have fog delays. Well one of the other teachers said she got a note from a parent asking for a schedule of the fog delays!:lmao:

My oldest son and I always joke about this, we even kid about it when we are other places. I kept telling him the alligators on the air boat ride were anamatronic! People probably think we are serious ;)

Okay, but in their defense, there are some fake things on Kilimanjaro Safari that they make you think are real. I can't remember what creature made those hills, was it termites?? The tall skinny big ant hill looking things. Yeah, those are fake.

It was neat the first time, but it was a little cheesy and to me just seemed like an excuse for them to speed up the tour.

That's probably why I liked it so much. I'm the Queen of cheese! :rotfl:
