Guests behaving badly (aka we need a round of pixie dust over here!)

We were at WDW July 21-24th and we saw some stuff, boy!

But, the one that sticks out and we actually chuckled about it was in the MGM parking lot. We boarded the tram and this family who didn't speak English sat down right beside us. Nice family and VERY, VERY, VERY excited to be there!! So, the Daddy of the family decides to video tape the ENTIRE tram ride to the park entrance but he keeps standing up to do it! Well, that of course is against the rules! So, in Spanish, the tram driver tells him to please be seated. Another second would pass and he would stand again. So, the trip to get to the MGM gates took 3 times longer than it should since the tram kept stopping and going, stopping and going! I bet an arial view of that ram ride would have been so funny! :rotfl2:
We later saw the same family and the Daddy was walking backwards video taping his family and he was bumping in to all kinds of people! But, hey, they'll have some good video to watch if they ever have 24 hours to kill!! :lmao:

I think that some people just don not realize how badly their behavior looks to the people around them.

I will post 2 of my own. One just ignorant, one kinda funny.

1) We were standing in line for a ride (I don't remember which) when the woman in front of me, who was with her mother and small daughter, looked at my family (we are very "blended") and called my kids "half-breeds" :furious: Now I know this is wrong, but in my defense she did say it directly to my child, I eased up behaind her and whispered very quietly in her ear "You should be glad we are in the happiest ****ing place on earth, because if we weren't surrounded by children I would kick you ****ing ---!"
Needless to say, she got out of line. Now normally I ignore these types of people, but she said it TO MY CHILD!

2) On a funnier note...We were staying at PorFQ and after getting the kids settled in to bed, I went down to the laundromat (next to the pool) to do some laundry. I put the clothes in the washer and settled myself into a beach chair to read a little while the load was washing. It was late and the pool was closed, but I unwittingly interrupted a young couple, in the pool, IN THE ACT! You have never seen 2 people so desperately trying to squirm into bathing suits while in the water! :rotfl2:

that is funny :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I was one of the women the able bodied men wouldnt give up their seat to on the bus--except I had a stroller, a 3 yr. old, and a 5 1/2 month old fetus I was carrying inside me! :rotfl:

Ok, when we were at Splash Mtn. a few years ago, there was a little play area for kids off to the side. Apparently there is a height restriction, and if you are too big then you cant play in the play area. My dd (8 at the time)was walking around with ds (1 at the time) holding his hand and making sure the 3 & 4 yr. olds didnt run him over. I was keeping a watchful eye in the corner.

Some man comes up to me and starts yelling that my daughter cant "play" in there that she's too big and that she's going to hurt his kid. I politely said She's not playing, she's holding my 1 yr. olds hand and pointed out there were parents milling around in there watching their children & they are over the height requirements. Well about that time his kid falls down (my kids were safely away-thank goodness). He starts Screaming & Yelling that he is going to sue because the sign is posted you have to be a certain height and now his kid is hurt.

The CM came over, but he just kept yelling "I want my money back." They had to call security and whisk them away. The mom looked embarrassed and said "Lets forget it and go enjoy our day" But the dad kept screaming. It was almost like he was looking for a fight, since he came up to me to point out the rules before anything ever happened.

If my dd were running around pushing down the other kids, I would have understood, but she was walking and helping my 1 yr. old. :confused3

She waited at the exit and asked me if i wanted to learn a lesson and have her take me out right then.

I'm glad you have self control, I woulda knocked that b out on the spot. :furious: :badpc:

As for giving up bus seats, I would give it up to elderly or a preggo if the need came up. But you got to realize, even though I'm a man, I get tired too. :)

A couple of things happened our last trip that were a bit disturbing, but we blow them off and be happy.

1) On our first day, within a few hours of arriving, my sons and I went to DTD to the Earl of Sandwich for our 1st Disney meal! We had never been there before and it was 12 noon on the dot, we were sort of mulling around, getting our bearings to try to find the line to place our order. There were lots of people in there. This 50ish lady literally got in my face - within a few inches- and exclaimed that "she does not tolerate line cutting" and "no one is getting in front of her". I sort of looked at her blankly and said "excuse me, I didn't even realize we were in a line". :confused3 As it was, we were NOT in a line - the CM's quickly corralled us and made visable ordering lines....hehe she was several people behind us! Anyway, within 10 seconds she actually walked in front of me and said this "was her place" and "rude people won't ruin her trip". I told my kids who just couldn't believe what they saw, that she must have been an escaped mental patient and to let it go. BTW - we had a great meal and a great afternoon regardless.

2) At Epcot one evening, at the rest rooms near Spaceship Earth, I was waiting for my sons to exit (usually it is the other way around  ) when I spied a woman sitting on the wall, with a small toiletry bag and her sneakers and socks on her lap, clipping her toenails and dropping the clippings on the ground.
I was so grossed out - just speechless.

That's actually really gross. My kids have to swim in that!

I would never expect someone to give up a seat if I just walked on the bus as a normal healthy woman. :) I thought I would get a sympathy seat because I had a stroller, a 3 yr. old, and was pregnant, and it was obviously pregnant with a big maternity shirt and a huge baby. I'm glad there are still a few gentelmen(women) out there, but none on the bus I got on. :guilty:
