Guests and Rooms

Since we are having an intimate wedding we don't have a room block or anything like that, but I was wondering if any of you tried or had any luck trying to get all of your guests close together at the resort. DF and I, along with all of our guests are staying at Coronado Springs Resort and since it is sooo large I was wondering if there was a way to try to get our rooms close together? Anyone had any experience with this???

book preferred rooms & request a certain building ie casitas at csr.

If you have a party of 8 or more you can book as a Grand Gathering (no additional fee) - there are special advantages like dinners that you can take advantage of, but the main reason we did it was to help people stay together. You get a separate confirmation number that all of your party can give when booking their accomodations - this should help the resort keep you together. Also, they offered to "hold" 3 or 4 adjacent rooms if members of our party booked within 14 days of us. I think this would have gauranteed that we would be next to each other.
