My wife has a friend in the Orlando area and she would like to visit our site for a few hours. Is there / what is the procedure to have a guest at your camp site? Thanks

They'll have to check in at guard station. The ones who visited us before were directed to the overflow parking lot and I picked them up from there.

They can ride the bus to your loop as well.

OK great. Is there any fee per person or anything? Thanks

No fee to visit. My aunt and uncle just gave the number of our site and were allowed to drive to it.

I don't recall them saying there was, but to be honest I didn't ask. Maybe somebody else can fill in that gap.

Or as others have done, you could add them as a guest to your reservation (You can have up to 10 people per site), although it's a lot of work for just a couple hour visit, but if it's more extended, then that is certainly an option.

We had friends come from Miami when we were at the Fort in Dec 2014, we checked with the desk and they told us to have them tell the guard shack and that they could park in our site too. I don't think they always give the same information. :confused3

We've had friends visit us too with no issues. We just picked them up from the overflow lot. No one has ever been allowed to park at our site but like PP said, maybe that depends on who is on staff that day.

Letting them know at the front desk The evening before that your "SISTER" is going to visit the next day can go a long way to making things go easier
