Wondering what the hours of Guest services are for embarkation day? We have the first port arrival time and expect to get an early boarding number. We want to book the wine tasting and I'd like to book the Champagne Tasting and would like to do this as soon as we board if it is open...

Anyone know what time GS opens?

I believe they will be open when you get onboard - and will be open 24 hours for your whole cruise - but I don't think that is where you go to book things . . . someone else can answer better . . . :surfweb:

Thanks! I guess I just assumed that's where I booked it! Should probably find out before we go! Don't want to miss these tastings!

You do go to GS to book the tastings. Other things such as Palo/Remy are elsewhere.

It will be posted in the Daily Navigator -- and depending on the length of your cruise -- it will be posted multiple times. On our last 7 day cruise there were 2 wine tastings, which I believe were repeats. (To tell the truth, not that thrilling an event, but it does give you a chance to taste wines that you might not select for yourself).

Just a tip--if there is one place to avoid going, unless you absolutely have to, just after embarking on your cruise and on the morning you disembark--it would be Guest Services. It just gets slammed with people.

It is posted in the Navigator the day of the event, but you have to pre-book. The tastings are not "repeats". They will have different wines at each tasting, but they are run the same way. YMMV with the line at GS. It took me all of 3 minutes to get our tickets when we boarded. If you want to do things like tastings you have no choice but to go to GS.
