How do you get a different room?
I sold mine is it possible to buy another?

Yeah you can buy loads of rooms.

Click the shop button and the shopping screen will appear
Then there should be a the word rooms near the top of the box, click it and it will take you to the 'room shopping box'

i was looking in the wrong place i was looking in the 'guest rooms' area
