Thought I read where someone posted they were out of the original Mickey GOH name badges at the theme parks. Can anybody confirm?

Wondering if anyone has seen the newer versions of the GOH badges at the outlets (i.e. Character Premier, etc.). Reason is, I need 1 GOH badge in the Stitch style (for 5 yr old nephew), then was going to have 1 made in the original Mickey style (don't see another style that my 8 yr old niece would really like). Then I remembered (or thought I did) that the parks were out of original red mickey.

Anyone?

Thanks,
Nancy :earsgirl:

They have Stitch at the Christmas store in DTD. Not sure about the Red Mickey one. I will have to ask my daughter. She went there yesterday.

Does anyone know how much they are at Disney? I know the laughing place is very over priced.

I have another question about this. Are they premade on site?
I thought I read something once that they were up to 10 letters.
Laughing place did not limit the number.
I have a Christopher (11) that never goes by Chris.
Do you think it will be a problem?

I don't consider TheLaughingPlaceStore.com to be overpriced at all. I ordered 3 personalized pins and they were $9.90 each plus shipping. They are $6.00 in the parks but they are a business providing a service. Someone had to go get them and have them personalized. I can't do that while in S.C. and I wanted them before we left. Also, they were shipped very efficiently and I was emailed with the shipping date and knew exactly what to expect. Maybe you're thinking of MainStreetMegastore.com which sells the exact same badges for $22 each :earseek:

Back in 2003 I got the red mickey ones for only about $5-6 each. I bought them somewhere in MGM and had both my kids names engraved since they aren't super common names. I was surprised at how inexpensive they were and wondered why everyone didn't have them, my kids got so much attention wearing them.

That was before they temporarily stopped making them, so I don't know who has what anymore. Sorry!

Oh yeah, that is who I'm thinking of. I remember they had Pal Mickey for some crazy price. :)
