Guest Of Honor Badges

Does WDW still do Guest of Honor badges? We got these in the christmas shop at Downtown Disney two years ago. They paid dividens when the cast member allowed us in to the last showing of Playhouse Disney for the day, even though the alloted number of people were already let in. My yound daughter was thrilled when the cast members called her by name.

I thought I saw somewhere that they are no longer sold? Do people still wear them? Do CM's still acknowledge them?

Yup! As Goofy would say. They are still located at the Christmas Shoppe at Downtown Disney, right next to the engraver.

They still sell them... but sometimes they do sell out, but there are now different varieties of badges. Check out laughingplaceshop.com (I think that's the name). If you can't find them at the Christmas Shop at DTD you can try one of the shops in MGM that also does engraving! I just got a new Tink one in February, as well as the GOH one I've had since 2003!

Color me purple but what is a guest of honor badge and what is it for? This sounds like something I'd love but I've never heard of it before! Is it nothing more than a namebadge?
