I LOVE the welcome bag idea - it's so much fun to look at all of your designs - I can't wait to make mine!

Here are our welcome bags. We basically did one per room with some exceptions. We make 34 bags and are shipping them to the hotel this weekend.

I am going to buy bottled water and snaks for them once we get there.
We included:

water bottle clips (oriental trading co)
rain ponchos
hand sanitizers
toiletry kit I found in the $ store
pen with our name and date
post card
Door hanger with guest names
disney items (varied on who the guest was)
Photo ablum
Koolaid mix to add to water bottles
candy
Folder with wedding itinerary, fun facts, hidden micky info, thank you letter, business card with our and our parents cell#'s on them.

Those are great!

Thank you fo the great ideas!!! :cool1: I'm doing 1 bag per room (family). I love the idea of seperate bags for the children though. We are only having three kids (DF's nephews) so it wouldn't be that much more $. I googled "Disney autograph books" and found a site that has them for $10, so I could put them in there! I didn't even think about Tide spot pens or tissues!
I also googled "tote bags" and found some sites that sell them for as low as $2 a bag, so I think I'll do iron on transfers! Also, I plan to put the itineraries with stamped post cards (one for them and one for them to fill out and mail to our home) in a folder (which you can get for 25 cents).
I also found portable fans at oriental traders for $12 for a dozen.

Oh, Disposable cameras!!!! Check out this site!!!! You can get them for as low as $3 a camera!!

Just a note. If you have Michaels or Hobby Lobby you can get the canvas totes for under $1 each. Mine were .79 on sale. Keep an eye out at the Dollar Tree and Target. They get lots of Disney items. Making these were one of the funnest things to make for the wedding.

We only did bags for the people staying in the hotel with us. We included granola bars, water, sun block, Mickey Mouse soaps (I made-my aunt thought were candies, but I digress), kid stuff (beach balls, swim rings, big Mickey lollie pops - from the Dollar Store). I picked up maps from the car rental counter at MCO on an earlier trip, and had those. It seems like there was more stuff, but I can't remember now. I bought and stamped bulk brown gift bags for other parts of the wedding. There were plenty left over, so we put everything in there for the adults. The kid stuff we put in sand pails.

I just love everyones ideas.

To Malibelle, where did you get those great bags and what was written on the tags you had attached to the bags. Did you print these up or was it somehing you got from Disney?

I actually got the bags at the Dollar Tree for $1 last spring. They worked out perfect and they are in 4 different colors.

The tags I made myself. It just says:

"We made this welcome
bag especially for
you!

Since you traveled all
these miles it was the least we could do!"

and great saying. It's great to pre buy stuff - this way the cost of things don't hit you at once.
