Will we be able to secure additional towels if we have a guest join us in the middle of our stay for a few nights? Can I assume that this won't mess up our DDP plans? - she won't be checking in with us, and will probably only be there for 3 nights of our 6 night stay. Would we be able to get her a "room key card", mainly so she could go to Stormalong Bay, since we will be at BCV?

I think the only problem you may have will be with regard to the dining plan. I think you will need to choose between having them accommodate your request for an extra guest, or having the dining plan. I don't believe you can have both the dining plan, and guests in the room not on the dining plan.

The answer depends on the type of room you have reserved and how many occupants. If the addition of your guest means you exceed the occupancy, she won't be able to get a key. AFAIK, only registered guests can get a key - all room keys now have the individual guest's name on them.

You can always get extra towels by calling housekeeping. You will probably be charged. An extra pack (of 4 bath, hand and washcloths, plus a bath mat) is $6.

Not sure about your Dining Plan - we'll have to wait for the "DVC rules" to see what happens if the number of occupants changes in the middle of your stay.

Best wishes -

I think the "worst case" scenario might be that you will have to buy the dining plan for your guest for the entire time you are there. As long as you are within the legal number for that room, you will get a key card for her, but I think the dining plan thing could be a problem.
