Guest dropoff at Animal Kingdom

My husband wants to go to IoA the day the kids and I go to AK. We are meeting a friend for a 9:10 a.m. Breakfastasaurus PS. We are staying offsite.

Is there a way he can drop us off (we will have our own car) without paying the parking fee? How about when he comes back to pick us up? Assuming he hasn't tossed his cookies on the Spiderman coaster.

They will let you be dropped off, without paying for parking. Each park has an area called "Guest DropOff". At Animal Kingdom, I have seen it done two ways. They may tell you to drive all the way over to Handicapp/Taxi parking and drop off, or they may tell you to just goto the regular area, park in a spot and then when you get out, your husband can drive off.
