Guest dropoff at Animal Kingdom?

My husband wants to go to IoA the day the kids and I go to AK. We are meeting a friend for a 9:10 a.m. Breakfastasaurus PS. We are staying offsite.

Is there a way he can drop us off (we will have our own car) without paying the parking fee? How about when he comes back to pick us up? Assuming he hasn't tossed his cookies on the Spiderman coaster.

Sure, as long as the resort parking permit is displayed he'll be allowed to enter the lot for free, although I don't think he can get right up to the front...you'd probably be better off just taking the resort bus.

There is a guest drop off area near the charter buses and taxi area.

Anne, we are staying offsite, so there is no resort bus or parking permit to display.
