It was mentioned on a recent podcast that if something goes wrong that shouldn't have then sure go ahead and write a letter but also remember to write when things go right Compliment letters rather than complaint letters because this tells Disney what is being done right. I have written both I won;t go into the complaint here but let's say there were two significant issues that occurred that I felt they should be aware of (PM me if you have a need to know) and recently I wrote to compliment several CM who were "magical". I got a prompt response back from the complaint and the issue were addressed (about 2 weeks after I wrote). But I haven't gotten a response back to the compliments. I don't really need to talk about the compliments with someone but I was hoping to hear that my comments were forwarded to the appropriate CM and their managers. Should I expect to hear from anyone about that or do I assume that compliments will be forwarded without an official "thank you for your comments they have been forwarded to the appropriate people" message back. Just curious.

This is a complete assumption but I would suspect that if you wrote a snail mail letter they will just file it appropriately while if you wrote an email they may respond with a quick thank you.

It just comes down to time management. A complaint is addressed and responded to so that you are aware it is addressed while a compliment is acknowledged but the time and postage isn’t spent on writing a formal response.

This is just my guess based on past business experience.
