) and we got one of the "Little Mermaid" lithos in the card frame from Art of Disney and had everyone sign that. Even Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale!

I'm also thinking about putting out a bunch of little cards with envelopes for the guests to write their own personal message and I will glue the envelopes into a scrapbook. If I just do the typical guest book I will probably end up making my own.

That's a great ideaJoD said:We had a plate made. I had a woman paint a Mickey & Minnie in the middle of a white serving plate and everyone signed it with a special pen and then we had to bake it in the oven and now we can use it as a decoration or you can use it for serving food.
I love it.
I did something very similar for my bridal shower. I display the plate with the rest of our wedding items.I was thinking of having a plate too! I thought I'd go to one of those "paint your own pottery" places and paint our initials on it...and then use it to have everyone sign. But, more than likely I'll end up going with having people sign little cards like some of you had done. I may decorate the cards by printing out pictures of my parent's wedding, my grandparent's wedding...and other family wedding portraits.JoD said:We had a plate made. JandJ said:Since we had an Intimate I knew there wouldn't be too many signatures so a book was out of the question. I scrapbook and I will make our wedding album, so I made a scrapbook page for the guests to sign. I decorated it in our wedding colors and a wedding/love quote from Shakespeare. I will insert it in the album once I make it. It came out beautiful and the guests all commented on what a great idea it was. It can be difficult, with an Initmate, to have all those sorts of traditions, but this one worked out great!

That's so funny - I've started scrapping our honeymoon first too! It's 2 parts, Disney and a cruise and I've actually started on the cruise first. I'm kind of scared to do the wedding and just want to make it so perfect that I don't know where to startmrs.explorer1977 said:I did the same thing. I didn't think it was worth buying a guest book that we would never look at, but knew that I wanted to scrap our wedding, so did up lined pages beforehand (we had 200 people at our wedding, wasn't Disney, obviously!) and everyone signed it. Now, I just have to get around to scrapping our wedding book! I've started the Disneymoon scrapbook because it's way more fun!![]()
I've been scrapbooking for almost 7 years and I'm still so nervous to start "The Wedding Book." You're right, the honeymoon is way more fun! I'll get there though, I'd like to at least start before our 1-year anniversary, which is coming up so fast! I think having the signature page in the book will be really special, it's definitely something to look at for years to come.
